Jesse Thompson’s surrealist sculptures combine juvenile figures with massive, patinated lifecasts, a three-dimensional representation of a subject created from a mould of his living body. It reveals deeper themes in each scene. The artist explains that these three-dimensional scenes are inspired by comics and other forms of sequential art.
